The Journal of Dental Sciences - Research Connoisseur publishes paper on all aspects of dentistry. The scope of journal covers the following topics (but not limited to): Paediatric Dentistry, Preventive and Community Dentistry, Special care need, Biomaterials, Prosthodontics, Oral and Craniofacial surgery, Dental Anaesthesia, Operative Dentistry, Endodontics, Dentofacial Orthopaedics and Orthodontics, Oral Medicine and Radiology, Oral Pathology and Microbiology, Periodontics, Implant Dentistry, Aesthetic Dentistry, Sports Dentistry
The published papers will include, not just original articles, but also review articles, systematic review, short communications, Brief Clinical Reports/Case Reports, and letters to the editor.
Original Articles
The original articles will have the following sections, Abstract (not more then 300 words), key words, Introduction, Material and methods, Results, Discussion, Bullet points, Acknowledgements, references. Any figure (coloured), diagrams, tables should be properly referred to in the text. There is no word limit in the online publication, but clarity and conciseness will be preferred. For print journals, on the discretion of the editor in chief, the authors might be asked to limit the total word count of the entire article to 5000 words
Review Articles
Are on special by the editor-in-chief.
Systematic Review
Will be considered to be published provided that they are detailed, comprehensive, unbiased, with enough sampling of literature.
Short Communications
Quality brief scientific articles or short case reports are encouraged to be submitted provide, they are no more then 4 pages, and have structure same as Original Articles.
The manuscript should be submitted in separate files: Title page; main text file; figures.
Title Page
The title page must contain the following
Main Text
The main text file should not include any information that can identify any of the authors. The main text of the manuscript should be presented in the following order: (i) Abstract and key words, (ii) text - Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion & a brief Conclusion, (iv) References - Vancouver style, (v) Tables and Figures, should have title and footnotes. The last item although part of the main text must be provided separately.
General Style Points
Formatting: The main text file should be prepared with Microsoft Word. The main body should be using 1.5 line spacing, Time New Roman with 10 Font size. Headings should be in font size 12.
Spelling: The journal uses UK spelling and authors should conform to that.
Abbreviations: In general, terms should not be abbreviated unless they are used repeatedly and the abbreviation is helpful to the reader. The first instance should always use the full form, which can then be referred as an abbreviation.
Units of measurement: Measurements should be given in SI or SI-derived units..
Numbers: Numbers under 10 should be spelt out.

All authors at the time of submission have to sign a copyright and consent form.
Frequency of Publication
The journal will be published twice a year (July & December)
Review Process
All submitted manuscripts will go through double blind review.
Publication Process After Acceptance
The corresponding author of the accepted manuscripts will be asked to proof read and answer the queries of the reviewers, if any.
